突发！币圈“巨人”轰然倒塌，今年1月还估值2200亿｜美元｜推特

　　发酵近一周的“币圈雷曼事件”迎来转折点。11月11日（周五）美股盘前，曾经为全球第二大加密货币交易所FTX在推特发布了申请破产保护的声明，创始人Sam Bankman-Fried已经辞去CEO职务。

The “Lehman in the Currency Circle” event of almost a week reached a turning point. On November 11th (Friday), the United States stock exchange FTX, the second largest encrypted currency exchange in the world, issued a statement on Twitter on its application for bankruptcy protection, and its founder, Sam Bankman-Fried, resigned from his post as CEO.

　　据FTX在推特发布的声明，包括交易所FTX.com，关联交易公司Alameda Research等130多个关联公司（合称FTX集团）已经自愿按照美国破产法第11章申请破产，以便“从全球利益相关方的利益出发，有序地评估和变现资产”。

According to FTX's statement on Twitter, including the exchange FTX.com, the associated trading company Alameda Research, among others, has voluntarily applied for bankruptcy under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code to “assess and cash assets in an orderly manner in the interest of global stakeholders”.

　　按照美国法律，申请此类破产的公司可以在制定债务偿还方案时继续维持经营。

Under United States law, a company applying for such bankruptcy may continue to operate when a debt repayment scheme is in place.

　　据声明，FTX已经任命John J。 Ray III 担任CEO，Sam Bankman-Fried辞职，但将协助相关破产事宜。

It was stated that FTX had appointed John J. Ray III as CEO and that Sam Bankman-Fried had resigned, but would assist in the related insolvency.

　　消息发布后，市值最大的数字货币比特币24小时内跌幅一度超5%，后跌幅收窄，但币价仍跌穿1.7万美元整数位。

After the news, the largest digital currency, Bitcoin, fell once more than 5 per cent within a 24-hour period and then narrowly, but the currency still fell through the full figure of $17,000.

　　FTX旗下代币FTT跌近20%，本周以来FTT跌幅已经接近90%。

　　由于FTT价格暴跌引发投资者挤兑，FTX面临巨大流动性危机。全球第一大加密货币交易所币安本周曾表示愿意收购FTX，但在发现FTX巨大的财务黑洞和监管风险后决定退出。

FTX faces a huge liquidity crisis as a result of a sharp fall in FTT prices that triggers a run-off by investors. The world’s largest encrypted currency exchange, the currency, has offered to buy FTX this week, but has decided to withdraw after discovering the huge financial black hole in FTX and regulatory risks.

　　11月11日，据彭博社报道，波场TRON创始人孙宇晨表示，如果双方能够达成协议，Tron准备向这家全球顶级加密货币交易所提供数十亿美元的援助。但截至发稿时间，这一交易的进展尚不清楚。

On 11 November, according to Bloomberg, Sun Woo, the founder of the Spot Tron, said that if the two sides could reach an agreement, Tron was prepared to provide billions of dollars in assistance to the top global encrypted currency exchange. But by the time of the release, the progress of the deal was unclear.

　　与Coinbase、币安等交易所类似，FTX也是近几年加密货币狂野浪潮中逐渐走到浪尖的佼佼者。公司创始人Sam Bankman-Fried生于1992年3月6日。在2017年投身币圈前，SBF在华尔街的简街资本（Jane Street）工作。凭借对金融衍生品的熟悉，他通过设立加密量化交易公司Alameda Research开始在币圈淘金，并在2019年成立FTX交易所。

Similar to Coinbase, Money Ann and others, FTX has been a pioneer in recent years in a wave of encryptive currency rage. The company’s founder, Sam Bankman-Fried, was born on 6 March 1992. Before he joined the currency ring in 2017, the SBF worked on Jane Street’s capital on Wall Street. By virtue of his familiarity with financial derivatives, he began gold-grabbing in the currency ring by setting up an encrypted quantitative trading company, Alameda Research, and set up an FTX exchange in 2019.

Unlike other decentralized trading platforms, FTX provides, in addition to brokering, a series of complex financial derivatives. In a few years, the start-up company became one of the largest exchanges in the crypto-money market. Forbes once launched a special in 2021, Sam Bankman-Fried was ranked second in the $4.5 billion class, after Coinbase’s founder, Brian Armstrong, known as the “Roy Mask”.

　　在最近一轮加密货币价值腰斩的过程中，大量资金的奔踏出逃引发许多交易所接连出现流动性危机，FTX也通过一系列的兼并和借款获得“币圈央妈”以及币圈最后借款人的称号。

In the course of the recent round of encoded monetary value betrothals, the run-off of large amounts of money triggered successive liquidity crises on many exchanges, and FTX obtained the title of “Max in the Currency Circle” and the last borrower in the Currency Circle through a series of mergers and borrowings.

　　今年1月，包括软银愿景基金（Softbank Vision Fund）在内的3只基金对FTX320亿美元（约合人民币2275亿元）的估值，投资了4亿美元。

In January of this year, three funds, including the Softbank Vision Fund, invested $400 million in the valuation of FTX $32 billion (approximately 227.5 billion yuan).
