元宇宙是什么？

元宇宙是一个虚拟世界，这是一个可以真实的人和虚拟事物交互的“世界”。在这个世界里，我们不仅可以通过虚拟形象体验到真实的生活场景，还能用我们目前已经掌握的知识、技能和工具，在这个“宇宙”里进行自主学习、自我成长。元宇宙是一个具有高度开放性和创造性的空间，它既是虚拟现实(VR)产业风口下一个风口的风向标，也是数字经济发展中未来技术与新一代信息技术、人工智能等领域融合创新和发展的关键。

The metacosystem is a virtual world where real people and virtual things interact. In this world, not only can we experience real life scenes through virtual images, but we can also learn and grow ourselves in this “cosmos” with the knowledge, skills and tools we already have. 元宇宙被定义为“一个虚拟化的真实世界”，具有互联网无法比拟的开放性和创造性，包括对数字经济形态的变革影响巨大。元宇宙具备丰富场景、内容、体验、数据等特征，在此基础上创造了更为丰富多元的场景服务与应用服务，涵盖了互联网之外所有类型的行业，既有硬件设备领域，也有软件服务领域；既有物理空间领域，也有虚拟现实(VR)等虚拟现实类产业空间；既有行业应用，也有企业和个人用户参与建设当中；既有现实场景，也有虚拟场景、沉浸式体验等新型产品业态；既有消费领域，也有生产领域；既有传统行业技术含量高、创新能力强等优势产业方向，也有新兴领域技术创新门槛低、发展潜力大等挑战行业方向。中国信息通信研究院指出，从数据要素看，我国人口数量达14亿，以互联网为代表的数字技术支撑着消费升级趋势。数字技术与实体经济深度融合使消费成为未来经济发展重点之一，同时也成为推动产业升级优化完善中越来越重要的驱动力；从数字技术与数字经济维度看，数字技术创新对经济结构带来了深刻变革。

元宇宙打破了人与人之间的物理距离和时空限制，人可以用自己的身体、大脑、双手等虚拟物品构建与外界的虚拟世界。我们不需要再为自己的行为感到羞耻或感到担忧，而是可以享受自由与舒适：进入室内就可以尽情地享受自然和生态环境，在广阔天地遨游；而出门就是去旅行：不管是春夏秋冬都可以随意穿梭于世界各地欣赏自然和生态环境；坐上飞机就是直达世界各地，飞行时间最长可达半个月左右……通过元宇宙世界里各种娱乐方式和娱乐体验，人们可以随时随地投入到丰富多彩、引人入胜的世界之中。因为在这个虚拟世界里，我们完全自由地去选择我们所喜欢的一切事物，哪怕是一只猫、一只老鼠也能激发出我们对生活对未来无限美好的想象和创造。因此，人将从社会中解脱出来，彻底摆脱自我束缚和局限。我们需要真正做到“与世无争”，因为人类最大限度地摆脱自然和生态环境带来的束缚，正是我们所需要的。

党的十九大报告指出：“要加快数字产业化，发展数字经济，培育新动能，形成新优势。”元宇宙作为数字经济时代的重要入口，在经济转型升级、产业转型升级中具有巨大价值。因此我们应把握未来数字经济发展趋势，推动未来基础设施建设、新型基础产业、关键核心技术领域持续取得突破，打造引领数字经济发展的新优势。
