Laidler also stated that “direct approval is unlikely, but any guidance on the way to eventual ratification would be a major step forward”.

　　Vaneck、Ark Investment Management和其他7家发行方已向SEC提交了上市现货以太坊ETF的申请。SEC必须分别在5月23日和5月24日之前就Vaneck和Ark的申请做出决定。

Vaneck, Ark Investment Management and seven other issuers have submitted applications to the SEC for listing on-the-spot ETF.

Joseph Edwards, research director of the Digital Asset Brokering Company , quoted media reports that SEC had requested that its declaration documents be updated from the exchange where it was listed. In addition, an ETF study showed that analysts had raised their approval expectations.

A spokesperson for the SEC did not comment on this. The deadline for approval was previously postponed by the SEC in March.
