根据官方的介绍，超级链是百度推出的区块链3.0解决方案，它是一个支持平行链和侧链的立体区块链网络。通俗的说，超级链其实就是一条公链。在这个立体区块链网络中，有一条Root链（基础链），Root链可以创建和管理其他平行链。Root链和平行链的关系，就像是父与子的关系。通过Root链创建的平行链，可以是公有链，也可以是联盟链。

超级链真的超级吗？
众所周知，比特币的TPS约为7，以太坊目前的TPS在30-40左右，比特币和以太坊的网络经常拥堵严重，因此饱受诟病。一定程度上，TPS过低确实制约了区块链的发展。而按照官方的说法，超级链的TPS 已经超过55000，这的确值得关注。

在百度的白皮书中，并没有token机制的相关描述，只有“超级燃料”的一些说明，而且从整个系统TPS无上限的描述来看，ROOT链应该是部署在自设的虚拟机上。也就是说，超级链的高TPS，依靠的是中心化的运作，超级链本质上是极其中心化的系统，严格意义上来说，超级链不符合公链的定义。
