区块链将成为香港重返世界中心地位的拐点——Penta Meetup走进香港共赢机遇

As a Bachelor of Science in Computer Applications at the Open University of Hong Kong and Chairman of the Financial Science and Technology Committee of the University of Iowa, the Hong Kong Smart Cities Alliance (HKCAC), the Penta Ecology Manager (Asia Pacific) Emil Chan has more than 20 years of research experience in the financial science and technology markets of Hong Kong and the Asia-Pacific region.

Meetup上他表示，此前由于香港交易所不愿意改变其公司治理监管规则，导致阿里巴巴的千亿美元IPO改道美国，丧失了一个互联网巨头及其带来的一系列互联网红利，最终不得不调整IPO规则。香港求变的需求越发强烈，区块链对金融系统和社会治理的重塑性，将是香港实现再一次飞跃的绝佳机会。而这也成为越来越多企业家和立法者的共识，目前香港政府和机构为区块链投入了很多资源，加上香港宽松的市场环境以及金融中心的历史地位，有望成为孕育区块链技术创新的中心。

In his presentation, Penta EVP Jay Wang described Penta's initiative in developing the DSC (a consensus agreement based on dynamic interests) consensus algorithm, which, while focusing on efficiency, sought a balance between considerations of safety, size, consistency and availability. Jay认为，中国在区块链研发和应用上居于全球前列，尤其是粤港澳大湾区区块链发展十分迅猛，Penta将有很多应用场景在中国和亚洲实现落地。但他也表示，任何技术都不是万能的，Penta的应用还是以合理善用为前提，切实提升现有实体经济的效率。“一个成功的区块链项目，还需要多个相关参与方的积极协作。Penta也致力于和各个行业的领导企业合作，共同用区块链解决商业面临的核心挑战。”Jay补充道。

Jay argues that China is at the forefront of the development and application of block chains globally, particularly in the Great Island Bay region of Hong Kong, and that Penta will have a lot of applications to land in China and Asia.
