According to external sources, Samsung Electronics is producing chips for an encrypted digital currency “mining” for a Chinese enterprise, which is expected to boost its profits this year. The South Korean technology giant semiconductor has a department called Foundry, which produces chips for other companies. In its fourth quarterly financial report released on Wednesday, Samsung said that it would benefit from an “enhanced demand for encrypted digital money” for this semiconductor sector. According to the Daily Telegraph, employees of an encrypted currency exchange in the United Kingdom were subjected to house robbery in their homes on 29 September, and an unknown amount of bitcoin was surrendered under the duress of four robbers. The incident was alleged to have been the first bitcoin robbery in the United Kingdom. A similar incident occurred at a bitcoin exchange in Ottawa, Canada, on 23 September.
