On Saturday, 13 March 2021, the Australasia platform, IC Markets, suddenly collapsed from over $59,700 to over $9,900 in bitcoin prices.

In an e-mail sent to clients, IC Markets said: "As you know, yesterday afternoon at 14:54 on the server time, there was a crash when our platform hit its peak at BTC USD prices. We sent your mail because one or more of your trading accounts were affected. We would like to inform you that, in order to correct the adverse effects, we are today making cash adjustments to all the trading accounts involved in this event."

As a result of its involvement, ADG was suspected of several violations of the Financial Services Act.
