On 22 February, the Morgan Chase analyst said that the recent surge in the price of encrypted money appeared to have been driven by impulse decisions by individual traders rather than by institutional investors or market fundamentals. The Morgan Chase analyst, led by Nikolaos Panigirtzoglou, wrote in a report on Thursday: “Similar to equities, we found a rebound in the impulse of encrypted money in February, and could therefore be the cause of a strong rebound in the encrypted currency market this month.”

The analysts stated that the impulses of the bulk were evident by analysing the accumulated bitcoin flows on the chain, distinguishing the size of wallets, and adjusting the influx of the new spot bitcoin ETFs. They added: “This adjustment is necessary because the bitcoins held by the bulk investors have been transferred to the new bitcoins ETFs, which are technically held by larger institutional wallets, even when the ultimate investors are scattered.” According to the analysts, another indicator of the interest of the bulk in encrypted currency can be seen in artificial intelligence and the increasing popularity of meme in the currency. They added that the share of artificial intelligence and meme in the entire encrypted market value had rebounded in February.
