USDT暴跌这个锅到底谁来背？

行情上涨或者下跌本是正常，但10月15日下午1:00左右，许多交易平台的USDT交易区突然出现“上涨”行情，BTC对USDT从的价格从6280左右瞬间突破7000，最高到达7800。当大家正准备为暴涨欢呼时，却发现“上涨”只是假相，USDT下跌才是这波行情的“总指挥”，彼时USDT急剧下跌，价格已经与美元脱钩，低点跌至0.9美元。

根据检测信息，Bitfinex先将所有交易订单的完整信息进行备案存储，同时员工也根据用户交易信息，把USDT价格下跌时进行正常交易的用户和机器人进行区分，并已将嫌疑账户锁定。有趣的事情出现了，每个嫌疑账户几乎拥有同等数量的USDT，并且这些账户的资金来自两个“鲸鱼”地址。通过进一步追踪，这两个“鲸鱼”地址将账户里的资金几乎平均分到十几个地址中，而这些收款账户都进行了USDT购买BTC的交易。

Based on the detection information, Bitfinex first records the complete information on all trade orders, while employees distinguish between users and robots who conduct normal transactions when the USDT price falls, based on the user transaction information, and have locked up suspect accounts. Interestingly, each suspect account has almost the same amount of USDT and these accounts are financed by two “ whales &rdquao; addresses. By further tracing, the two & & ldquo; whales & & rdquo; addresses divide the funds in the account to almost a dozen addresses on average, all of which were traded by USDT for BTC.

On the face of it, the flashback of the USDT does not seem to have allowed more people to know about the IMMO, but, according to the exchange response, the incident directly contributed to the questioning of the USDT, and its status as a stable currency boss began to be shaken. Since then, the exchanges of OKEx, KuCoin, Poloniex, etc. have announced other stable currencies on the line, competing with the USDT.

Whether or not the incident was deliberately set up by others, it was true that the USDT information was not transparent, that the lack of audit was true, and that the mystery surrounding its solvency was all the more evident. Bitfinex’s investigation was perhaps just a self-defendant’s home, and the real reason for the USDT’s collapse was still questionable.
